Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band

About Us

Originally founded in March 1990, the Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band is an all-volunteer organization.  The band rehearses every Monday evening.  Our repertoire offers a wide variety of music including marches, big band medleys, classical, popular music, show tunes, and patriotic tributes.  The band performs throughout the year at venues in the greater Ocala / Marion County area, all of which are free and open to the public.

Armed Forces Day Salute

 

Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3:00 pm

at the VFW Retirement Home in Fort McCoy 

 

 

Musical selections include:  Themes Likes Old Times V, "Rock, Roll, and Remember", a tribute to Dick Clark, Broadway One Step, Stars and Stripes Forever, and much more.

 

All performances are FREE and open to the public.  No tickets needed.  Donations are appreciated.

Program Advertising

Your business can now advertise in our concert programs, which are viewed by hundreds of potential customers at each Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band performance (8 concerts per year). 

 

Business card size ads may be puchased for only $100 per year (September through August).
