Marcia Muncaster studied voice with Dr. Milton Rehg, Professor of Music at Lindenwood College, St. Charles, Missouri; and Mrs. Frances True, Long Beach, Mississippi.  She continued her singing career as a member of the U.S. Air Force Band, performing throughout the Southeastern United States as featured vocalist with the Air Force Band of the Gulf Coast.  While on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, she also performed with  her husband, Les, In their two performing groups, Montage and EZ 2, and on stage with Kinetic Neo Skene Productions.  After moving to the Ocala area in 1992, she became a familiar face on the stage of the Ocala Civic Theatre, featured in productions such as Fiddler On The Roof, Two By Two, and 1776.  Marcia joined the Kingdom Of The Sun Concert Band in 1998.  We are priviledged to have Marcia perform at least one selection at each of our performances.  When not singing, Marcia is a member of our talented percussion section. 

Col. Arnald D. Gabriel retired from the US Air Force in 1985 following a distinguished 36-year military career, at which time he was awarded an unprecedented third Legion of Merit for his service to the US Air Force and to music education throughout the country. He served as Commander/Conductor of the internationally renowned U.S. Air Force Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Singing Sergeants from 1964 to 1985. In 1990, he was named the first Conductor Emeritus of the USAF Band at a special concert held at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. A combat machine gunner with the US Army's famed 29th Infantry Division in Europe during WWII, Co1. Gabriel received two awards of the Bronze Star Medal, the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the French Croix de Guerre. Following his separation from the Army in 1945, he enrolled in Ithaca College, where he earned both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Music Education. In 1989, his alma mater conferred upon him an Honorary Doctor of Music degree and, in 1997, he was further honored with its Lifetime Achievement Award. He is also listed in the International Who's Who In Music, 7th edition. Col. Gabriel was inducted into the National Band Association Hall of Fame of Distinguished Band Conductors, becoming the youngest person ever to have received this honor, and is Past President of the prestigious American Bandmasters Association. He is currently the Conduct or and Music Director of the McLean Orchestra in Virginia.   Col. Gabriel appeared as guest conductor with the Kingdom Of The Sun Concert Band in October 2007 where he thrilled both the band and audiences with an outstanding performance.

Harry Watters, New Orleans trombonist and Jupiter Artist serves with both the Army Blues Jazz Ensemble and the US Army Brass Quintet in Washington, D.C. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Harry grew up in a musical family. His parents were accomplished musicians and Harry's brother Ken is an award-winning trumpeter who performs throughout the Southeast. After graduating from the University of North Texas, Watters spent four years touring and recording with the Dukes of Dixieland. While working at night on Bourbon Street, Harry attended the University of New Orleans by day, serving as graduate assistant to Professor Ellis Marsalis. Watters has performed with well known artists such as Al Hirt, Pete Fountain, Peter Nero, Wycliffe Gordon, Bernadette Peters, Lou Rawls, and James Moody and has been a featured soloist with West Virgina Symphony, Syracuse Symphony, Baton Rouge Symphony, the Kishinev Festival Orchestra, and the US Army Orchestra, as well as many other organizations throughout the country. His recordings include Love Songs, Centaur Records' S'Wonderful: The Music of George Gershwin with arranger and conductor William Grimes, and Summit Records' Brothers and Brothers II with trumpeter Ken Watters.  Harry is constantly on the move with his "Power Practicing" clinic at universities and high schools around the country.  Harry provided an energetic and thrilling performance with The Kingdom Of The Sun Concert Band in March 2010 in celebration of the band's 20th year anniversary.  Harry has been awarded with an honorary membership and has agreed to return as a guest soloist in 2013.  We are already looking forward to his return.

David Delk has been an actor, performer, and director on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 30 years.  Some of his acting credits include Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors", Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", Curly in "Oklahoma", Dennis in "Smoke On The Mountain", and Frankie in "Forever Plaid", as well as the ensemble for the Mississippi premiere of "My Way ... A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra".  In March of 2010 David performed in Center Stage's production of "Lend Me A Tenor" and is scheduled to be in their 2011 production of "Babes on Broadway".  He also will be directing their 2011 summer musical, "South Pacific".  David is the vocalist in the "Coast Big Band", a 25-piece Big Band-style orchestra (www.coastbigband.com).  He is a recipient of a Best Supporting Actor award from the Mississippi Theatre Association and was voted Best Actor in the Sun Herald's "Best of the Coast" readers' poll.  He is President and co-owner of ABC Rental on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band and our audiences were  thrilled with David's performance at our "By Request" concert series in July 2010 and were proud to award him with an honorary membership.
